about

The 6th single and second single of the 2021 year, Cardboard people pose the aged old question about existing and coming to the realization that we are tiny specks floating on a rock in an enormous galaxy. At the end of it all, we know nothing at all. No matter how much you study, what religion you follow, how much you pray or drink your life away.

You have the power to be in your right now. To feel and understand every emotion in the present......

lyrics

I prayed for 40 days, I prayed for 40 nights
I drank my life away, that was my sacrifice
Baptized before my time, I dance the night away
Kneeled down before my god, I tried to mediate

And I know that if I lie awake,
Then I replay all my heartbreaks
And I know that if I hesitate,
Then my whole life will flash away

They know where the souls go
But they know how to pay the toll
Lights out, we don’t go there
Tread light, better beware, beware

What I know is I know nothing at all, nothing at all
What profits a man you gains the whole wide world and then he lose his soul
And even the wiseman know that he will never know nothing at all
What I know is I know nothing at all, nothing at all
What I know is I know nothing at all, nothing at all

I climbed the highest mountain
Just do I feel my soul
I tried to find enlightenment
Down in the deep dark hole
I swarm across the ocean
Just so that I could grow
Died in the burning desert
I tried to steal the sun

I climbed the highest mountain
Just do I feel my soul
I tried to find enlightenment
Down in the deep dark hole
I swarm across the ocean
Just so that I could grow
Died in the burning desert
I tried to steal the sun

They know where the souls go
But they know how to pay the toll
Lights out, we don’t go there
Tread light, better beware, beware

What I know is I know nothing at all, nothing at all
What profits a man you gains the whole wide world and then he lose his soul
And even the wiseman know that he will never know nothing at all
What I know is I know nothing at all, nothing at all
What I know is I know nothing at all, nothing at all

I climbed the highest mountain
Just do I feel my soul
I tried to find enlightenment
Down in the deep dark hole
I swarm across the ocean
Just so that I could grow
Died in the burning desert
I tried to steal the sun

I climbed the highest mountain
Just do I feel my soul
I tried to find enlightenment
Down in the deep dark hole
I swarm across the ocean
Just so that I could grow
Died in the burning desert
I tried to steal the sun
