Berkeley based collective Cardboard People debut single "Bondage".“Bondage” emerges with the controversial conversation of slavery and its effects on the Black Experience.

As a double entendre, “Bondage” brings forth the uncomfortable conversations to be acknowledged. Exploring themes of identity, race, politics, and cultural indifferences through the lens of Black female empowerment, this single doubles down on giving a voice to the voiceless and making space for the oppressed.
